About the event
Join the adventure of exploring the difference that negative painting can make to your piece of watercolour art. We will work together on a piece with the intention of completing the project in our session.
For those who have not worked with negative painting or who are perhaps a little daunted by what is viewed as the complexity of the technique, please be assured that this session is intended to demystify the process and help you achieve more depth to your pieces.
Suggested materials:
9”x12” 140lb cold press watercolour paper. (single sheet or pads are fine)
A plastic or wooden board to tape your piece to. (tape will be provided)
A selection of watercolour brushes…those which you are most comfortable using. You will need a small one included for fine detail work.
A selection of watercolour paints. Tube or pan paints are preferable.
A blow dryer
