About the event
Bio: I have been creative since I first started to sew and craft as a child. My training was in the medical profession but my art journey is self taught. The spontaneity of watercolor allows my "style of loose and painterly” to shine. My favorite part of painting is teaching it! I am a ‘skills based’ instuctor. Teaching how the paint/paper/water relationship takes the ‘mystery’ out of watercolor. Using my sketchbooks while traveling is my favorite use of watercolor. Sitting to observe, sketch and paint anchors not just the scene, but the experience, the sounds, the scents, the people.
