Our workshops are now open for non-members! Chemainus Art Group Members have priority for the first 30 days of registration, after which registration will open to non-members, space permitting.

OIL PAINTING SUNSETS IN THE EXPRESSIONIST STYLE with Elissa Anthony
Friday September 26th
10am to 4pm

In this workshop, Elissa will show us how to paint expressive sunsets in oils. Students will all be working from the same seascape image.
SEASCAPES IN SOFT PASTELS with Bev Herriot
Friday October 24th
10am to 4pm

Bev will be sharing her techniques for soft pastels, including blending, layering, and tools used such as blenders, pencils and of course fingers!
WET FELTING with Darrell Giraldeau
Friday November 28th
10am to 4pm

Come explore the art of wet felting and create a beautiful one-of-a-kind wool illuminated bowl, embellished with silk and other fibres. The proess of wet felting is magical, as wool fibres come together to form a three dimensional vessel.

No one is signed into a workshop until payment is received. All payments are online or through e-transfer or in person at a Meet Up.

First paid is first in the workshop

Participants cannot sign up for part of a workshop at a reduced fee.

Auditing a workshop is not permitted. Everyone must be a participant.

Payment is non-refundable as a financial commitment will already have been made
to the instructor based on enrolment. (Exception: If the workshop participant must cancel due to critical unforeseen circumstances, and there is a person on the waitlist willing to pay and attend, a refund will be considered on a case by case basis.)

Non-members can register for workshops 30 days after the workshops are open for members and will pay an additional fee of $20/day to enrol in a workshop.
